Both collections have as objectives the deposit, storage, quality control and distribution of human and animal cells. Both are also active in the provision of laboratory services, technical support, consulting, training, qualification and professional training in the various fields of life sciences and biotechnology. They can also act as administrative and economic-financial actors to coordinate, lead, manage, plan, execute and administer research, technological development and teaching projects in any areas of science, as well as in areas of technological and industrial development.</dc:description>
