The Collection has approximately 10 thousand specimens of 270
species belonging to 140 genera in 48 families of the Order
Hymenptera (corresponding to wasps, bees and ants). It is mainly
a regional collection, located in the northwest of the State of São
Paulo but it has specimens collected in 12 other states in Brazil
and the Federal District. Additionally, there are specimens of
species from other countries in America, Africa, Europe, Asia and
Oceania. The collection will gradually be made available through
this platform.
