<dc:description>The Herbarium of the Federal University of ABC (HUFABC), which is administratively linked to the UFABC Research Dean (ProPes), has more than 2,200 exsiccates, especially the flora of ABC Paulista, as well as material from State and National Parks. Additionally, the collection has duplicates from national herbariums such as SP, HRCB, SPFR, HCF, MG, HCDAL, TANG and INPA. Among the families represented in the collection, the largest is Gesneriaceae (144), and the collection has two holotypes. The HUFABC collection is in a constant computerization process in Brahms software. Thus, we guarantee the online availability of the collection for remote consultation by experts and botanists around the world. The collection is constantly expanding, receiving material collected by researchers and students from UFABC, as well as from other collaborating research institutions. Additionally, donations and exchanges of exsiccates with different herbariums around the world allow the maintenance and expansion of botanical knowledge.</dc:description>
