	<dc:description>The Scientific Collection of harvestmen from
the Museum of Natural History of the Federal
University of Bahia (MHNBA) had its first record
in December 1985, from the collection of 1
specimens from the region of the UFBA
University Campus, in Ondina, municipality of
Salvador, Bahia. The collection was stopped
during the following years and only restarted
recently, in 2022. It is a small collection, where
only 38 lots from localities in the states of
Bahia, Mato Grosso and Sergipe are listed, with
data organized in an Excel spreadsheet. With
the exception of the type species Metarthrodes
oxum, none of the lots is identified at a
taxonomic level other than order.</dc:description>
