The Herbarium Mandevilla has been building an important collection, growing every year, containing, in addition to the exsiccates, special collections, such as the xyloteca, spermtheca, carpotheca, palynoteca and histoteca. It receives materials from the ecological, environmental and botanical areas of the entire Alto Paranaíba and several municipalities in Minas Gerais, as well as from other states such as São Paulo, Santa Catarina, Mato Grosso, Pernambuco and Goiás.
