The Holothuroidea collection of the Museum of Zoology “Prof. Adão José Cardoso” located at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP) is being implemented and has nearly 20 lots with 50 recorded specimens. The material is preserved in alcohol 70%. The cataloging and digitalization of the collection are in progress using the MS-Access data bank manager. Most part of the collection has a scientific purpose, destined to researchers interested in Echinoidea. However, it is available for graduating and post-graduating students.
