The Hymenoptera collection of the Museum of Zoology “Prof. Adão José Cardoso” located at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP) has nearly 100 lots with 150 specimens. The material is preserved in alcohol 70% and dried. There are specimens from São Paulo and Santa Catarina (Southeastern and South of Brazil). The cataloging and digitalization of the collection are in progress using the MS-Access data bank manager. Most part of the collection has a scientific purpose, destined to researchers interested in Hymenoptera.
